Description:
We are seeking an experienced developer to integrate our client and trade management system (Datasoft API) with WhatsApp Business API. The integration should automate key client communications across multiple use cases, ensuring messages are logged and compliant.
Use Cases:
Trade Confirmations – send structured deal details + PDF contract note.
Payments – notify clients of payment instructions, releases, or settlement.
Welcome Messages – send onboarding messages when a client is approved.
Marketing Messages – send approved broadcast campaigns (only to opted-in clients).
Missed Calls – automatically follow up with clients who missed a call.
Upcoming Meetings – send reminders with time, date, and link/location.
Key Requirements:
Strong experience with WhatsApp Business API via any provider (e.g. Twilio, 360Dialog, Gupshup).
Integrate with Datasoft REST API to fetch client and transaction data.
Build templated messages with dynamic placeholders (name, trade ID, amount, date, etc.).
Support document attachments (e.g. PDFs for trade/settlement confirmations).
Create a simple audit trail (store sent messages, delivery receipts, and timestamps).
Implement opt-in and compliance checks for WhatsApp and GDPR.
Provide fallback channels (e.g. email) if message delivery fails.
Deliverables:
Middleware service (Node.js, Python, or similar) connecting Datasoft events to WhatsApp messages.
Endpoints/webhooks for:
Triggering messages (trade booked, payment released, meeting scheduled, etc.).
Receiving delivery receipts and logging them.
Managing client subscription/opt-in.
Documentation and deployment guide.
Example WhatsApp templates (e.g. confirmation, payment, reminder, marketing).
