"I run a SHA-256 pool on Miningcore and need the vardiff logic on one of my public ports sorted out. The port is configured for a target difficulty range of 50 000 – 10 000 000, yet it stubbornly locks miners at exactly 50 k and never scales up or down. This static difficulty drags down hashrate reporting and drives miners away.

So far I have:

• opened additional test ports and shifted miners between them
• played with individual miner parameters (btc address, worker name, intensity, etc.)

None of these changes freed the port from that 50 k ceiling. The job is to locate the real bottleneck—whether in vardiff, stratum, or an overlooked config flag—and deliver a clean fix that lets difficulty float smoothly across the intended range.
