"I want my current Tally inventory reports to show a few extra data fields that are not available out of the box. Using Tally Definition Language (TDL), please:

• add the specific additional fields I will list once the project starts
• keep the layout consistent with the standard stock summary format so my team recognises it instantly
• ensure the new fields flow through all drill-down levels and respect existing date, voucher-type and item filters

The code must load without errors on the latest public release of Tally and be easy for me to turn on or off via the TDL configuration screen. After delivery, a quick walkthrough or short set of comments in the source explaining where I can tweak field positions or labels will help me maintain it later.
