"I hire trucks from the spot market through a network of brokers, so my entire workflow revolves around broker relationships rather than an in-house fleet. I need a transport management system that mirrors that reality. The application may run offline on a local PC or online in the cloud—as long as it stays usable when the connection is poor and can sync once service is restored.

Core scope
The system must centre on broker management. From opening a new load to closing the invoice, every step should happen in one place so my team can ditch the spreadsheets.

Essentials for the first release
• Load matching: create a load, assign it to an available broker, capture rate and agreed terms on the same screen.
• Invoicing: one-click conversion of delivered loads into invoices that break down freight charge, brokerage, taxes, and any deductions, then export to PDF or Excel.

Nice-to-haves such as GPS tracking or route optimisation are welcome but not mandatory; the priority is loads, brokers, and money.

Acceptance criteria
• Stable multi-user system (min. 10 concurrent users, 5,000+ records) with password protection.
• Intuitive interface my dispatchers can grasp in a single training session.
• Precise invoice calculations and clean PDF output.
• Clear backup/restore path whether deployed offline or online.
• Short user guide or recorded walkthrough.
