Project description:
"I need a browser-based form, built from scratch, that captures full customer information and passes it straight into our Buildxact account – with the option to send the same payload on to Xero once that step is switched on.

The form must collect:
• Name, phone and email
• Street and postal address
• Payment details (CC or bank, tokenised for security)
• Trade-specific fields I will supply (licence number, ABN, etc.)

A clean, responsive layout is essential because most of our users will be on tablets onsite. When the user hits Submit the data should:
1. Validate client-side and server-side.
2. Call the Buildxact REST API to create a contact/contractor record.
3. (Future-ready) be able to route the same data to Xero through its API; please architect the code so that turning this on later is a configuration change, not a rewrite.

I’m comfortable with any modern stack – Laravel, Node, or Django are all fine, preference towards VS2022 – as long as:
• The code is well-commented.
• Credentials live in env variables.
• You hand over a brief README covering setup, API keys, and where to map additional fields.

Acceptance criteria:
– Form loads and submits in the latest Chrome, Safari and Edge.
– All specified fields arrive accurately in Buildxact.
– Security best practices followed (HTTPS, CSRF, tokenised payments).
– I can change field labels, add a new field, and redeploy without touching core logic.
