Conditional XML Tagging in Java need Software Development
Contact person: Conditional XML Tagging in Java

Location: Pune, India
Budget: Recommended by industry experts
Time to start: As soon as possible
Project description:
"I have an existing XML file and clear business rules that rely on certain numeric values already present in the document. I need a Core Java program (Java 8 or higher) that scans the file, detects those numeric conditions, and injects new tags only when the values match.
You will receive:
• the sample XML file for immediate testing
• a brief rule sheet that spells out which numbers trigger which new tags
The code must respect standard OOP practices, keep classes focused, and include robust exception handling for parsing, I/O, and unexpected data. Feel free to employ DOM, SAX, StAX, or any efficient parser—just keep the design clean and easy to extend. Unit-level tests (JUnit or TestNG) that prove the insertion logic works are a plus.
Deliverables
• Compilable source (.java) and compiled (.class or .jar) files
• A short README explaining how to run the program and where in the code new rules can be added
Deadline
Everything has to land in my inbox today by 9 PM IST, so factor in time for one quick feedback round.
If you’re comfortable with collections, multithreading (should you choose to parallelise large files), and tidy file handling, this will be a straightforward sprint. Let me know the minute you can start so we stay on schedule." (client-provided description)
