Overview
I am looking for an electronics/circuit designer to create a compact playback device capable of storing and playing 300 short audio stories (each ~2 minutes long). The entire design must fit within a 2-inch by 2-inch enclosure and include a USB-C rechargeable battery system, waterproof speaker, LED indicator synced to playback, and basic control buttons.
Key Requirements
Form Factor
Entire design (PCB + components + speaker) should fit into a 2” x 2” square enclosure.
Slim and efficient layout.
Audio Storage & Playback
Ability to store and play up to 300 audio files (~2 minutes each).
High-quality playback through an in-built waterproof speaker.
Audio format can be compressed (e.g., MP3, WAV) to optimize storage.
User Interface & Controls
Buttons: Next, Previous, Stop, and Power.
LED indicator: Should light up and sync with the story being played.
Power & Charging
Rechargeable battery (sized for compact design).
USB-C charging port with standard charging circuitry.
