"For this project, the chosen app for redesign is Instagram. The main problem identified is that users often struggle to quickly access important features due to cluttered navigation and inconsistent icon styles within the app. This leads to confusion, slower interactions, and missed notifications, especially for new users and those who primarily use mobile devices.

Problem Analysis
The cluttered navigation bar and use of similar-looking icons in Instagram's interface often make it difficult for users to differentiate between features like direct messages, notifications, and reels. Many users report accidental taps and missed updates because the icons are too visually similar and lack clear labeling.

Solution Approach
Conducted a detailed review of Instagram’s main screens: Home, Search, Reels, Notifications, Profile, and Direct Messages.

Identified pain points such as icon confusion, overcrowded bottom navigation, and insufficient contrast between groups of elements.

Used Adobe XD to develop and prototype cleaner layouts, emphasizing:

Consistent icon design with distinct shapes for each feature.

Improved font hierarchy and increased spacing for better readability.

Reorganized navigation bar to group related functions and highlight frequently accessed actions.

Added contextual tooltips for first-time users and improved visual feedback for taps.

Proposal Summary
