Project Overview:
I have a fully functional Next.js-based web app for practicing exam-style questions (timed tests, answer review, analytics, etc.). The app works, but:
• The codebase is messy (poor naming, structure, organization)
• It’s a bit slow and bloated
• Some logic is server-heavy and could be moved to the client to save hosting costs and improve responsiveness
I’m looking for a developer to refactor and optimize the app, implement BetterAuth for authentication, set up Stripe monthly subscriptions with a 7-day free trial, and ensure the app is as client-driven and cost-efficient as possible.
I’m also open to suggestions for smarter tech or architecture improvements if it helps performance, cost, or maintainability.

4. Stripe Integration
• Monthly subscription with 7-day free trial
• Billing state synced with NeonDB
• Access control based on subscription status
5. Performance Optimization
• Bundle splitting, lazy loading
• Improve Lighthouse scores
• Minimal layout shift, fast interaction
6. Open to Tech Suggestions
