"I run a busy car wash and need a simple Windows-based program that lets me record every vehicle registration that comes through the bay and keep a searchable history of each visit. The data must sit alongside my existing customer database so that I can pull up past washes, view visit dates, and check customer details in one place without jumping between tools.

Key things I expect from the build:

• Lightweight Windows installer that runs easily on any of my shop PCs or laptops
• A clean form or screen where staff type the number plate as the car arrives
• Automatic time-stamping and storage of each entry, then instant retrieval of all previous visits for that plate
• Direct integration with my current customer database (SQL Server) so vehicles link to the right customer record without duplication
• Simple reporting or export so I can see daily, weekly, or monthly wash counts for any vehicle or customer

I’ll supply a copy of the existing database schema and test data. Final deliverables are the compiled application, documented source code, and a short setup guide so I can deploy future updates myself." (client-provided description)
