"I have an established PHP web application that needs immediate attention. A handful of functional bugs are disrupting day-to-day use—certain actions fail to complete, while others return incorrect data or trigger unintended behaviour. Your first task will be to hunt down and resolve these functional issues so the core system runs smoothly again.

Once stability is restored, I want to extend the platform with three clearly defined modules:
• Discount Master – a central place to create, edit and apply discount rules in real time.
• Ledger Master – a structured ledger that records every debit and credit, integrates with existing transactional tables and supports basic reconciliation.
• Cash-Flow & Expense Management – dashboards and forms to enter expenses, track receipts, and surface real-time cash positions.

After those modules are live, I’ll need a set of new reports. The exact layouts will be shared during development, but expect to generate PDFs and on-screen tables that summarise financial data pulled from the new modules and existing tables.

Key notes:
• Core stack is PHP (no framework lock-in—plain PHP with MySQL).
• Git is in place; you’ll commit work to feature branches and open merge requests for review.
