Time to start: As soon as possible
Project description:
"I need a real-time, 3D simulation that recreates a small-scale manufacturing line: conveyors, workstations, and at least one articulated robot picking, placing, and moving parts through each operation. The end goal is to validate cell layout, robot reach, cycle time, and potential collisions before any hardware is ordered.
Unity or Nvidia Omniverse both meet my requirements, so pick whichever engine lets you work fastest and most accurately—you’ll own that technical decision. Whichever route you choose, physics-based motion, inverse kinematics, and realistic timing must be included so I can tweak speeds and positions later without rewriting code.
Core deliverables
• An editable project file (Unity or Omniverse) with all assets, scripts, and scene hierarchy organised.
• Parametric controls for conveyor speed, robot path points, and task timing exposed in a simple UI.
• Camera fly-through plus a recorded video clip that demonstrates a full production cycle end-to-end.
• Brief hand-off guide covering project structure, key prefabs/graphs, and how to adjust parameters.
Acceptance criteria
The simulation must run at 60 fps on a modern workstation, complete one flawless production loop without collisions, and let me reposition machines/robots and regenerate paths in minutes.
Timeline is tight—I’d like a working first pass within days, and sign-off ready as soon as humanly possible. When you reply, show me past work that proves you’ve already built factory or robotic simulations; links or short clips are perfect." (client-provided description)
