"I’m looking for a seasoned developer to take full ownership of a macOS desktop application, from architecture through release and ongoing refinement. The day-to-day leans heavily on hands-on programming and coding, with React and Node.js at the core of the stack; the project currently runs inside Electron, so experience there—or the ability to get productive quickly—is vital. If you already write TypeScript, even better.

This is a long-term arrangement: a minimum commitment of 40 hours each month is required, with compensation set at USD 8,000 for that block ($80/hr). We work asynchronously through a ticketing system and email, so clear, concise written English is important.

You’ll be conceiving features, specifying implementation details, writing and reviewing code, documenting your work, and handling test and bug-fix cycles. While the full development life-cycle matters, the primary emphasis is on producing clean, maintainable code that ships.
