"LifeStories is a mobile-only personal journal where people collect daily moments, reflect on them, and see their progress over time. Engagement is good, but I want it to feel so intuitive and rewarding that users return every day without reminders. The assignment revolves around reshaping the end-to-end user experience to achieve that single objective: higher user engagement.

Current state
• Core screens (entry, timeline, entry editor, insights) are already drafted in low-fidelity wireframes.
• No visual system defined yet—colours and typography are still open.
• User feedback points toward friction in first-time onboarding and limited delight during daily use.

Scope of work
• Audit the existing flows and pinpoint engagement drop-offs.
• Translate findings into concise user journey maps and revised IA.
• Produce low- and high-fidelity wireframes in Figma, covering onboarding, daily entry, and insights dashboards.
• Add micro-interaction suggestions (e.g., subtle animations, haptics) aimed at habit formation.
• Package everything in a mini design system (colour tokens, typography scale, basic component library) so engineering can build consistently.

Deliverables
1. Heuristic/analytics-backed UX audit (PDF or FigJam).
2. Wireframes & clickable prototype in Figma.
3. Design system starter file.
4. Handoff notes ready for development.

Acceptance criteria
• Prototype passes a quick-turnaround usability test (≥ 5 users) with at least a 20 % uplift in task completion for onboarding and first journal entry.
• All screens conform to WCAG 2.1 AA for contrast and tap targets.
• Figma file is organised with named pages, components, and styles.
