Time to start: As soon as possible
Project description:
"I’m planning a green-field build of a location-intelligence platform that lets enterprise users cut through noise and act on precise, up-to-date spatial insight. The application must ingest our internal transactional data, enrich it with geospatial feeds (think demographics, foot-traffic, drive-time polygons), then surface clear, interactive analytics so executives see exactly where to expand, consolidate, or reposition.
Core capabilities we need from day one:
• Data analytics & dynamic visualization dashboards (maps, heat-maps, comparative scorecards)
• Granular user management and role-based permissions
• Public and private REST/GraphQL APIs so other internal tools can both feed and consume results
• Satellite images
• Site assessment and recommendations for expansion
• Integration with GenAI (ChatGPT) for assistance and recommendations
The platform should feel industry-agnostic—retail, real estate, hospitality and any other sector must be able to onboard with only light configuration—so keep domain rules flexible and build key metrics through reusable templates rather than hard-coding vertical logic.
Technical expectations
• Cloud-native architecture (AWS) with containerized micro-services
• PostGIS (or similar) for spatial queries
• Modern front-end stack (React) able to render millions of map points smoothly
• CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and unit/integration test coverage for every service
• Integrate with OpenAI(ChatGPT) to give users insights and recommendations based on the available data
Acceptance criteria
1. Analytical Dashboards
2. API documentation (OpenAPI spec) proving external access to analytics endpoints
3. Terraform (or equivalent) scripts that reproduce the full cloud environment
4. A short deployment guide and architecture diagram
If you’ve delivered geospatial, BI, or SaaS products before, let’s talk through your proposed stack, timeline, and any clarifying questions so we can move quickly from design to MVP." (client-provided description)
