"It was a bit of a particular app I had in mind. So, when clients open the app they must see three fields: a unique code, full name (first and last), and phone number— all required. There should also be a checkbox to remember their data. Once logged in, their home page will have a bottom navigation bar with Calendar, Gallery, and Personal Profile.

In the Calendar, there should be only four bookable time slots: 9:00, 10:30, 15:00, and 16:30. In the calendar, for example: if all the slots are taken, the day’s color should be red; if some times are still available, the day should be half red and half green; and when all slots are free, it should be green.

In the Gallery section, I want something like Instagram where each client can upload photos of their nails, with likes and comments. In the Profile section, they will have the history of their past and upcoming appointments, a balance showing any money they paid in advance at a previous appointment and any money still owed, and the ability to change their data (e.g., phone number if they change it) and, of course, log out. Oh, and I’d like them to have a notification bell.

As for me, to enter the admin section I’d like that when “admin” is typed in the login, a password field appears (I choose the password). On my dashboard, the first page should be the calendar with the current day underlined and the same color logic (red, green, red/green). Below the calendar I should be able to see the clients I have that day in small swipeable cards.

I want a hamburger menu with: Home (linking to the calendar dashboard), a Clients section where I can see all their unique codes and data, and the ability to deny access to any client I want to remove. Under the Clients section I want the Swaps section—this part is a bit tricky to explain. We had discussed appointment swaps: essentially, Client X wants to swap their appointment with Client Y. So Client Y receives a notification saying that Client X would like to swap with her. Client Y can accept or reject. (I forgot to say that in the Clients section there should also be an icon for swaps.) In this case, in the admin section I will only see this request—basically I’m a spectator to what’s happening between them. I would also like, as admin, to be able to move Client A to another time slot by sending her a request; in this case, in the Clients section I’ll see the pending request and whether it gets accepted or refused. Obviously, when a swap request is accepted, the calendar must update automatically.

Also, as admin I want the ability to block 1 or 2 time slots and make them unbookable, or block the entire day. Saturday and Sunday are non-working days.

Then, under Swaps in the hamburger menu, I want Daily Earnings and Product Expenses that I add manually, to have a monthly summary of how much I earned. I’d also like an Inventory section where I add products, quantities, and product names, and get alerted when something is running low.

Oh, I almost forgot: in the Clients section I want to be able to add, for example, if Client X paid me in advance or if Client X still owes me something, and this should automatically show up in her profile. I want clients to be able to upload a profile photo, and I want push notifications both when they book and 1 hour before the appointment. I’d also like to send reminders via WhatsApp.
