"I’m looking for a meticulous Data Entry Specialist to take raw spreadsheets and turn them into clean, analysis-ready data. The assignment is strictly data cleaning—removing duplicates, fixing typos, standardising formats, checking for inconsistencies, and re-organising columns so everything lines up perfectly.

Although the primary focus is data hygiene, my end goal is to feed these cleaned files into a future web-design workflow, so an eye for how the data will display online (CSV, table structure, field naming) will be a welcome bonus.

Deliverables
• A fully cleaned master file in the original format (Excel or CSV as supplied)
• A short change-log noting major corrections or assumptions
• A brief “ready for web” version if field names were adjusted for export

Acceptance Criteria
• Zero duplicate rows, empty records, or obvious outliers left unaddressed
• Consistent date, number and text formatting across every column
• Final files open without warnings and match the source row count after deduplication
