"I have an existing display system that reads layout definitions from JSON and renders them as 2D schematics in a web browser. The next iteration must guarantee three things: zero-overlap readability, automatic fit to any screen (no scroll bars, no clipped edges) at any resolution or DPI, and rock-solid 24 × 7 live updating.

The layouts are a mix of text blocks, interactive elements, and animated signal objects that move in real time. Users need to click, hover, and drag items, while the scene itself keeps refreshing smoothly from a data stream without a single frame hitch. Everything they see online must look identical when the same JSON is opened offline.

Key requirements I need you to meet
• Layout engine runs entirely in modern browsers (no plug-ins).
• Auto-calculates positions so objects never overlap and the whole view always fits the viewport.
• Scales cleanly on high-DPI monitors and down to small tablets without losing clarity of labels.
• Handles continuous data pushes for object movement with stable FPS suitable for 24/7 control-room use.
• Keeps output visually and functionally identical between the live display system and an offline fallback viewer.
• Accepts today’s JSON files unchanged, yet recognises new optional metadata if present.
