EVENT REGISTRATION SYSTEM
We want to build a SaaS-based Expo Registration System that allows event organisers to easily create and manage all their registration requirements through a simple web portal. The platform must scale to handle hundreds of simultaneous events and thousands of registrations without performance issues.

Event organisers should be able to create branded event pages, set up custom registration forms, manage ticket types, and view registrations in real time. An accompanying mobile app will allow both organisers and attendees to manage registrations seamlessly on the go.

Each event should have a customisable registration form that can be branded with event details and fields chosen by the organiser. Forms should support both standard user profile data (name, email, phone, etc.) as well as additional custom fields such as dietary preferences, marketing questions, or surveys. The system should support multiple ticket types with different pricing, discounts, and optional add-on items.

Attendees should be able to log in, save their profile data for reuse, and view all their past and current registrations from their dashboard.

The registration management module should give organisers powerful tools to browse, search, and filter registrations, export data, and track sales. Event organisers should also be able to upsell or cross-sell items during or after registration (e.g., merchandise or workshops). A clear analytics dashboard per event should display registrations, ticket sales, revenue, and engagement metrics in visual charts. This needs to be intuitive and easy to interpret.

There will be three user roles in the system: (1) Users – who register for events and manage their registrations, (2) Organisers – who create events, configure forms, and view analytics, and (3) Super Admins – who oversee all events, organisers, and users. Since this is a SaaS product, there should be subscription tiers based on the number of registrations (e.g., Free under 5, R1,000 under 500, R2,000 under 1000, R6,000 under 3000). Logical screens will include: organiser dashboard, event creation wizard, form builder, registration listing, analytics dashboard, user dashboard, admin control panel, and a mobile-friendly event registration page."
