"I’m looking for a DOORS Classic 9.7 expert who can meet with me online for three one-hour sessions each week (screen-sharing, mic-on, camera optional). Over an initial 12-week period we’ll focus on project-specific customization and hands-on development of DXL scripts that automate everyday tasks in my current database.

Where I’m starting
• I already find my way around DOORS and have a basic grasp of DXL syntax, loops, and objects.
• What I’m missing is the deeper know-how to write clean, reusable code, adapt examples to my project structure, and understand the “why” behind each technique.

What I need from you
• Walk me through writing, testing, and debugging automation scripts—think module cloning, baseline handling, attribute calculations, custom views, and notification hooks.
• Explain design decisions as we go so I can maintain and extend the code on my own.
• Suggest best practices for version control, commenting, and performance.
• Provide session recap notes and the final, working DXL snippets after each call.

Schedule & next steps
We’ll agree on times that suit both of us and keep a shared backlog of mini-projects to tackle each week. After three months we’ll review progress and, if it’s working well, line up a longer-term arrangement.
