Project description:
"I need a compact HTML / PHP solution that lets me print asset labels straight from any modern browser to a locally-connected TSC TTP-244 Pro. The page should open, show a simple form where I type or paste the asset details, and when I hit “Print” it immediately sends a correctly-sized label to the printer without asking the user to adjust settings or install extra software.
Every label must include:
• a QR code generated on the fly from the asset ID, name, location and any other details I enter in the form,
• the company logo that is always picked up from a fixed folder on the server,
• company name, asset description and today’s date clearly laid out next to the code.
Because the printer is at the client side, the script has to stay 100 % browser-driven and OS-agnostic—no server-specific drivers or plugins. A clean combination of plain HTML/CSS, a lightweight QR library (for example, [login to view URL] or similar) and, if needed, a short PHP helper is fine as long as it still works when the page is run from any standard web host.
Please package the final deliverables as:
1. One self-contained HTML/PHP file (plus any tiny helper assets) ready to drop on a web server.
2. Clear comments in the code so I can tweak label size or wording later.
3. A brief read-me explaining where to place the logo file and how to adjust print margins in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari.
If you need a sample of the current label layout, let me know and I will send it right away." (client-provided description)
