"Project name: EcoKart — a small eco-friendly products store
Goal: Build a simple, responsive 4-page storefront + checkout flow that demonstrates UI/UX, responsive layout, client-side logic and form validation.
The 4 pages
Landing / Home (Products grid)


Hero section, categories/filters (simple), product cards with thumbnail, name, price, “View” and “Add to cart”.


Product Details (single product)


Larger image, description, price, quantity selector, “Add to cart”.


Checkout (single page with the full checkout form OR split into mini-steps on same page)


Cart summary (editable quantities, remove item).


Shipping & billing form (name, email, phone, address, payment placeholder).


Order review + place order button.


Order Confirmation / Thanks


Order number, summary, estimated delivery, “Continue shopping” button.


(Alternative: Page 2 could be Cart page and Page 3 Checkout, but keep it 4 pages total.)
Tech choices & approach
Layout & utility: Bootstrap 5 or Tailwind CSS (pick one).


Bootstrap: faster if interns know components (navbar, cards, forms, grid).


Tailwind: great for utility-first custom styling and learning modern workflow.


JavaScript: vanilla JS (ES6+) — focus on DOM manipulation, events, localStorage.


Optional: small mock API using JSON file or local fetch('/data/[login to view URL]') to load products.
