"I’m refreshing a line of branded t-shirts and caps and need a vintage emblem that looks right at home on black and grey fabric. The mark should blend classic typography with a complementary graphic element—think an old-school badge where the wording and imagery feel inseparable rather than one dominating the other.

Because the artwork will be screen-printed and embroidered, it has to hold detail at small sizes and stay crisp in a single-colour application. Clean vector construction is a must so we can scale it from a front-panel cap patch to a large back-print tee without redrawing.

Please work in Adobe Illustrator (or an equivalent vector tool) and avoid gradients; subtle texture or distressing is fine if it supports the vintage vibe and still separates cleanly for production.

When you’re done, I’ll need:
• AI or EPS source file with outlined fonts
• High-res transparent PNG and PDF proofs
• Simple mock-ups on a black tee and a grey cap to show placement and contrast
