"I’m ready to launch a fully-responsive online store that feels right at home on a phone yet still looks striking on desktop. The visual direction is an ancient Latin–Moorish palette—think warm terracottas, deep azures, patterned accents—so your front-end choices will need to echo that vibe from the splash screen all the way to checkout.

Key functional pieces I need you to weave together: a welcome splash page that invites visitors to join our newsletter or open a free account; a coupon-code system that can be managed from the admin panel; and product pages laid out in a clean grid, because I chose Grid view as the default browsing style. Shoppers must be able to leave reviews with star ratings and attach photos, and those images should be optimised so mobile users aren’t punished with long load times.

Inventory, pricing and availability all live in a single Google Sheets document that updates constantly. The site has to pull from that sheet in real time (or on a reasonable schedule) so staff never have to touch a back-office CMS. Payments will flow through Square, so you’ll connect their API for both one-time purchases and coupon-adjusted totals.

For authentication, standard email-and-password registration is non-negotiable, and I’d also like the flexibility to add Facebook and Google login if it doesn’t bloat the build. Code must be clean, documented and easy for me to hand off later.
