"My TikTok-style app suddenly stopped showing the view count on each reel right after I pushed some backend adjustments and added a couple of new features. Everything else works perfectly; I only need the counter to display the correct number again.

Here’s the situation:
• Backend is written in pure PHP (no frameworks).
• Recent updates touched database queries and introduced two new API endpoints. Since those changes, the view totals no longer appear in the UI.

What I need from you is a clean, targeted fix that restores the real-time view count without disturbing any other functionality. You’ll likely inspect the PHP endpoint that logs and returns the view figure, trace it through to the mobile display layer, and patch whatever broke during the last deploy.
