"Game Developer Wanted — Profit Share / Equity (3D Dash Game · PC & Mobile)

Overview

We’re building a fast, stylish 3D dash game for PC and mobile—think high-speed lane-switching/free-run action, reactive VFX/audio, and collectible, truly unique characters with signature abilities. The goal: deliver something fresh in a crowded genre, not another reskin. You’ll join early, help shape the core feel, and ship a vertical slice together. NDA required before accessing docs and code.

What You’ll Do

Implement and iterate on dash locomotion (lane-based and/or free-run), collision, obstacles, and power-ups.

Build the character ability system (e.g., phase dash, magnet pull, time-slow, wall-run).

Create performant 3D environments and level chunks (handcrafted + procedural sequences).

Own input layers for keyboard/mouse, controller, and mobile touch/gestures.

Optimize for 60 FPS on target mobiles and smooth on PC (URP/GLES, LODs, pooling, baking).

Collaborate on game feel, VFX, UI/HUD, and meta loops (progression, cosmetics, challenges).

Contribute to code reviews, asset pipelines, and build automation.

Engine

We’re open to Unity (URP) or Godot 4—choose what you’re strongest in. Unreal devs are welcome if you can ship lean mobile builds.

We’re Looking For

Portfolio showing shipped prototypes or games (required).

Loves tight iteration on controls and game feel.

Comfortable working for profit share/equity at startup pace.

Communicates clearly, meets agreed milestones, and asks good questions.

Bonus

Mobile performance wizardry (profiling, batching, lightmaps).

Tech art/shaders (scanlines, neon, motion trails, bloom done right).

Procedural level gen, analytics/AB testing, or backend (PlayFab/Firebase).

Multiplayer/time-trial ghosts, leaderboards.

What You’ll Get

Revenue share + equity. Example model (transparent & negotiable):

Dev Pool: 35% of net game revenue until initial milestones ship + marketing recoup, then 20% ongoing.

Equity Pool: 10% company options allocated across long-term contributors (with standard vesting/cliff).

Ownership & credit—your work is on the box, not buried.
