Project description:
"I need my current worksheet converted into a fully-fillable PDF that performs its own math. The file will contain a bit more than twenty fields, a mix of free-text inputs (names, comments, etc.) and numeric inputs (quantities, unit prices, discounts). As soon as numbers are entered, the form must automatically run basic addition and subtraction to display line subtotals and a final grand total—no multiplication or advanced formulas required. I have a word version of the document currently.

Everything has to function inside Adobe Acrobat Reader on both Windows and macOS, so standard Acrobat JavaScript or built-in calculation scripts are fine; users shouldn’t see security prompts or have to enable anything extra. I’ll supply a layout mock-up the moment we start, and I’d like the editable source file back so minor wording tweaks are easy later.

Acceptance criteria
• Text fields accept text only, numeric fields accept numbers only.
• All calculated totals update instantly and accurately whenever a value changes.
• The completed PDF can be saved in Acrobat Reader DC without warnings.
• No external dependencies, hidden macros, or intrusive scripts.
