Project description:
"We are Synapse Payment Systems, a fast-growing payments company looking to refresh our website and marketing design assets. We are running a paid test project to evaluate design talent. Four designers will be hired for this test, and the best performer will be offered a long-term, full-time role on our team.

The Test Project
You’ll be asked to redesign a specific webpage section (example: a data visualization and market trends block) to make it cleaner, more professional, and visually compelling. The goal is to turn dry statistics into a design that’s engaging, modern, and aligned with our brand.

What We’re Looking For

Strong portfolio of UI/UX and marketing design work (landing pages, dashboards, infographics, or data-driven content).

Ability to create conversion-focused visuals that improve clarity and user trust.

Skilled in Figma (preferred) or similar design tools.

Attention to detail in typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.

Bonus: Experience designing for fintech, SaaS, or payment processing industries.

Deliverables for the Test

A redesigned version of the provided “POS Market Trends” section.

Mobile-friendly and desktop-ready mockups.

Design should balance professionalism with clarity, using charts/graphics that are easy to understand at a glance.


Compensation

This is a paid test assignment.

The best overall designer (based on creativity, polish, and brand alignment) will be invited to join Synapse Payments in a full-time capacity.
