"I currently run all of my farm’s accounting and operational records in a single Excel workbook. The file has grown so complex that it now needs to live inside a proper Windows application.

Your first task is to translate everything that workbook does—data entry screens, the built-in formulas that drive automated calculations, and the printable summaries I rely on each month—into an offline Windows program. The interface should feel as familiar as possible to the staff who already use the spreadsheet, yet protect the logic behind the scenes.

Key requirements
• Windows-only desktop app, no internet connection needed for day-to-day work
• Separate user roles (admin, standard, read-only) so I can control who edits what
• Smooth data entry forms that feed a local database or file system store
• All existing calculations must run automatically after each entry, matching the Excel results exactly
• One-click reports that recreate the current balance sheets, crop-wise profit statements, and input-usage summaries

Looking ahead, I’m planning to take this system online when the farm expands. For that reason, please build the codebase in a way that can later be migrated—whether by exposing an API layer, choosing a framework that also targets the web, or simply documenting the logic clearly.
