Project description:
"I need an Android-based solution that runs on Meta Quest headsets and lets a fabricator look at a real-world steel assembly, have the system understand its exact position and orientation, and then see the corresponding digital twin overlaid with no more than 2 mm deviation. The interface must be fully mixed-reality with VR pass-through; the user simply wears the headset and sees the model snap into place while moving around the shop floor.

The app has to recognise the physical assembly on the fly, track it continuously, and stream the correct 3D CAD or BIM model so the worker can align add-on parts in real time. Low-latency spatial mapping, robust marker-less tracking, and precise 6-DoF pose estimation are essential. I’m comfortable if you build in Unity or Unreal as long as the finished APK installs cleanly on Meta Quest and can be side-loaded for testing.

Please include:
• automatic model registration and re-registration when the user steps away and returns
• a simple in-headset menu to choose between sample 3D CAD and BIM files I’ll provide
• an accuracy test mode that records positional error so we can verify the 2 mm spec

Deliverables are the compiled APK, commented project source, and a short video capture proving the overlay sits within tolerance while the headset is moving." (client-provided description)
