Project description:
"I still use a custom program that was originally written for the Commodore Amiga, and I’d like to run it natively on my Windows 10 machine. I have the complete source code on hand, but the exact language mix (C, C++, Assembly, or a combination) will need confirming once you look at the files.
What I need from you is a clean, working Windows 10 build that replicates the current Amiga behaviour. That will involve analysing the existing codebase, replacing or emulating any Amiga-specific libraries or hardware calls, and producing an installer or simple executable I can double-click on my PC. You’re free to use modern toolchains such as GCC/MinGW, Visual Studio, or cross-compilers like vbcc—as long as the final result runs without extra configuration.
Deliverables
• Compilable Windows 10 source project with clear build instructions
• A ready-to-run 64-bit executable (installer optional but welcome)
• Brief hand-off notes explaining any major code changes and where to tweak settings in the future
I can supply the full source archive, original documentation, and screenshots of expected output as soon as we start." (client-provided description)
