"I am seeking an absolute Shopify expert for comprehensive theme optimization and bug fixing. This project requires someone with deep technical expertise in Shopify Liquid, CSS optimization, JavaScript performance tuning, and complex theme architecture.
Project Scope:

The main objective is to optimize my current Shopify theme for performance while maintaining 100% functionality and visual appearance. The optimization should focus on CSS consolidation, JavaScript optimization, code review, and error correction. The primary pages requiring attention are the product page, homepage, and collection overview page.

Critical Bug to Fix:
There is a significant functionality issue with the add to cart feature. When customers select any quantity on the product page using the quantity selector, only 1 item is added to the cart regardless of the selected amount. For example, if a customer selects quantity 5, only 1 product gets added to the cart. This needs immediate resolution.

Technical Complexity Warning:
The current theme contains sophisticated logic systems including variant updates, sold out status handling, special pricing logic for products over 1000 euros that display "price on request" messaging, and multiple other complex functionalities. The freelancer must have extensive experience with complex Shopify themes and must ensure zero functionality loss during optimization.

Requirements:
You must be a certified Shopify Partner with an active partner account to request access to my store. I cannot send invitations to non-partners. Alternatively, I can provide you with my theme files to work within your partner development environment.
Long-term Collaboration:
This project is intended as the beginning of a long-term working relationship. I need someone reliable who can handle ongoing optimization, maintenance, and feature development.

Deliverables Expected:
Optimized CSS with reduced file sizes and improved loading times, streamlined JavaScript with enhanced performance, complete code review with error corrections, resolution of the quantity selector cart issue, detailed documentation of all changes made, and performance comparison reports before and after optimization.
