Project description:
"Your portfolio of similar stuff done is pretty important and is the first criteria for ocnsidering you.
I’m putting together a web-based platform inspired by [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] that lets anyone research the existing online-course landscape and then build a better course of their own—without leaving the site.
Here’s what I need built:
• A crawler that scours the public internet for similar courses, captures titles, outlines, pricing and popularity signals, and surfaces the results in an easy-to-filter dashboard. The data should refresh on a schedule I can adjust from an admin panel.
• A guided course-creation flow. Think step-by-step prompts, template libraries and drag-and-drop outline editing. I want this workflow powered by an LLM so the user can ask for suggestions, rewrite lesson objectives, or auto-generate quizzes on demand.
• Seamless sign-up and sign-in with social media login—specifically Facebook, Google and Microsoft—plus the usual email/password fallback.
• A lightweight admin console where I can view users, manage crawled data, tweak prompt templates for the LLM, and turn features on or off for testing.
• Modern, scalable tech. I’m open to React, [login to view URL], Django, Node, Python, or anything comparable that pairs well with GPT-4 / Claude APIs and can live comfortably on AWS, GCP or Azure.
Deliver the full source code in a private repo, a short setup guide, and a live staging instance so I can test end-to-end before we push to production. If any third-party packages or paid APIs are needed, call them out early so there are no surprises.
COntent also needs to be applicable to an LMS, (if you can automate this, god, otherwise, we go manual for now)
I’ll be available daily for quick feedback loops and can provide UI wireframes once development kicks off. Let’s build something that takes the pain out of course creation and lets future instructors focus on teaching, not tooling.
If possible, consider doing this as a wordpress compatible solution (not compulsory)" (client-provided description)
