"I need a single, unified system that lets me record employee attendance, follow their daily routes in real time, capture kilometres travelled, and then roll all of that data straight into payroll calculations. The core must be a secure web portal where I can set up users, view live maps, approve timesheets and pull reports, while my staff clock-in and clock-out from a companion mobile app.

The mobile side has to run smoothly on both iOS and Android, using the phone’s GPS to log location and an odometer input (manual or automatic) to store distance covered. Once a shift ends, the app should send the raw hours, kilometres and GPS trail to the server so the web portal can crunch overtime, mileage allowances and statutory deductions automatically.

• Real-time location and kilometre tracking with background tolerance controls to preserve battery
• Attendance module that supports photo or PIN verification at clock-in if possible
