"I’m building a consumer-grade income-tax filing app for Indian salaried employees and freelancers that feels smooth & reliable, but runs exclusively on Android. The core flow must guide a user from profile setup through ITR-1 or ITR-2 generation, perform every calculation locally, and produce a return ready for e-filing with the Income-Tax Department.

Beyond replicating the standard Tax experience, I want to layer in modern AI techniques wherever they genuinely add value—be that smart data extraction from salary slips, automatic deduction discovery, or an in-app conversational assistant. I’m deliberately leaving the exact AI feature set open so you can recommend what is technically feasible and legally compliant in the Indian context.

You will own the full native Android build in Kotlin (or Java if strongly preferred), including secure login, cloudless offline mode for sensitive data, and a simple upgrade path for future modules such as advance-tax reminders. Clean architecture, modular code, and clear documentation are non-negotiable, as the project will be audited before go-live.

Acceptance criteria:
• End-to-end filing journey for ITR-1 and ITR-2 passes internal QA with sample datasets.
• Computation outputs match official Excel utilities within ±₹1 rounding.
• AI-driven features work on-device without leaking user data.
• Source code, build scripts, and a concise technical README are delivered through Git.
