Project description:
"I’m refreshing a 7-cottage farm-stay site that currently sleeps 32 guests but doesn’t yet convey the premium feel—or the seamless functionality—we need. The new build must celebrate the quality of the cottages and the range of experiences while speaking distinctly to four core audiences: Families, Couples, Retreat Groups, and Corporate groups looking for off-site space.
Here’s the vision:
• Modern, mobile-first website (WordPress, Webflow, or a similar CMS you recommend) with an intuitive content editor so the owner can update copy or photos without touching code.
• Real-time availability calendar and secure online booking/checkout, integrated with the farm’s existing reservation system (or a new plug-and-play engine if that proves smoother).
• Embedded social media feeds—Instagram and Facebook are mandatory, TikTok optional—plus share buttons throughout.
• Automated email and SMS flows that welcome new bookings, upsell add-on experiences, and gather post-stay reviews; marketing automation can live in Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Klaviyo as long as it plugs in cleanly.
• Google Analytics 4, Facebook Pixel, and conversion tracking set up from day one so we know exactly which channels drive each segment.
• Page layouts or mini-landing pages that spotlight tailored value propositions—for instance large kitchens and bunk layouts for Families, romance packages for Couples, yoga studio access for Retreat Groups, and team-building itineraries for Corporate clients.
• Fast load times, ADA-aware design, and SEO fundamentals baked in.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional website on the agreed platform, launched on the farm’s domain.
2. Booking engine connected to payment gateway and synced with the cottages’ calendar.
3. Social feeds and automated marketing workflows live and tested.
4. Training doc or short Loom videos showing the owner how to add photos, update rates, and pull basic analytics.
Acceptance criteria: every page passes Google PageSpeed’s Core Web Vitals, booking test completes without error on desktop and mobile, and each user segment has at least one dedicated section or landing page.
If you’ve built hospitality or vacation-rental sites before and can bundle design, development, and automation into one smooth hand-off, I’d love to see your approach and timeline." (client-provided description)
