Project description:
"I’m ready to build an iOS and Android companion for my small-batch coffee shop and bakery that keeps every latte and croissant piping hot. The signature feature is geo-fenced order firing: once a customer places a mobile order, the ticket should automatically print (or hit the KDS) when they’re only a couple of minutes from the café, so products come out fresh instead of sitting on the counter.
Square is my current POS and loyalty platform, so smooth two-way syncing is non-negotiable—order details, inventory, rewards balances and redemptions all need to flow without manual work. I’m leaning toward React Native or a white-label solution such as GoParrot, but I’ll follow your expert recommendation so long as we keep a single codebase for both stores and retain full ownership of the final build.
Core functionality I expect:
• Geo-fenced order firing with reliable background location checks (user consent required).
• Mobile payments through Square, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where possible.
• Attractive, scrollable menu browsing with modifiers, photos and real-time item availability.
• Simple user review module tied to individual menu items as well as overall visit ratings.
The look and feel should be warm and cozy—think reclaimed-wood tabletops, soft colors and inviting typography—yet still clean enough to navigate in a hurry. I will provide brand assets, copy and product photography; you’ll translate them into a polished UI, handle the Square API work, set up push notifications, and submit the builds to both App Store and Google Play under my accounts.
Acceptance checklist before final sign-off:
• Orders fire consistently within the chosen radius on at least 95% of test runs.
• Loyalty points earn and redeem correctly on test transactions.
• Payment flows pass Apple and Google compliance review.
• App meets App Store/Play Store submission guidelines and is approved.
If this sounds like a project you can take from wireframes to launch, let’s talk timeline and milestones." (client-provided description)
