Project description:
"I’m looking to have a dedicated online load board built that lets logistics coordinators (my core user group) match loads with available trucks quickly and reliably. The board must allow anyone posting freight to handle everything from refrigerator-sensitive produce to dry goods and even oversized or heavy-duty equipment without changing tools or workflows.
What I need the finished platform to do
• Load posting & intelligent searching – shippers add detailed load data; carriers filter by lane, equipment, weight, dates, and rate.
• Driver and carrier profiles – managed on the board so we can store insurance docs, safety ratings, and equipment specs and verify status at a glance.
• Real-time tracking – once a load is booked, the freight’s location should update live on a map view, with automatic status triggers (picked up, in transit, delivered).
Beyond those must-haves, please design the UI so future roles (like drivers or suppliers themselves) can be enabled with minimal re-work, and keep the architecture open to API integrations for TMS or ELD data down the road.
Deliverables
1. A responsive web application (mobile-friendly) ready to deploy on my preferred cloud host.
2. Source code with clear installation/README instructions.
3. Basic admin documentation covering user management, load workflow, and how to add new equipment types or commodities.
4. A short video or live walk-through so I can see the board working end-to-end.
If you’ve built freight marketplaces, trucking dispatch tools, or real-time tracking dashboards before, let me know—links or brief demos will help me choose quickly." (client-provided description)
