"I’m building an online mock-test portal dedicated to educational practice exams, with the first full suite aimed at CAT aspirants. The core of the project is a web platform that lets students sit timed tests, review deep analytics on every attempt, and draw from a well-structured question bank that can be filtered by subject or category.

The site should offer a clean, responsive interface for both desktop and mobile. Each test must display a live countdown timer, automatically submit when time is up, and store all responses for later review. After submission, students need a results dashboard that highlights scores, accuracy, topic strengths/weaknesses, and progress over multiple attempts.

On the back end I’ll need an admin area where new questions can be added, tagged, or imported in bulk, and entire mock papers assembled quickly. Secure user authentication, basic payment-gateway readiness (even if switched off for now), and straightforward role management (student / admin) are expected.
