"Online Pharmacy Website and App Project Scope.

We are looking to build a comprehensive online pharmacy platform, including a website and mobile web apps for both customers and delivery partners, to be published on the Google Play Store.


Platform Components

Customer web App: This will be the primary interface for customers to place orders.

Admin web Panel: A centralized panel for overall management of the platform.

Store web Panel: A dedicated panel for the pharmacy to process orders and manage their inventory.

Delivery Partner web App: An app for delivery personnel to manage and fulfill deliveries.

Core Features

User Authentication
Login: Customers can log in using their mobile number and a password.
Password Recovery: Instead of OTP verification, a simple password recovery process will be implemented. Below the login button, a "Forgot Password!" option will be displayed with the message: "Just call customer support and reset instantly." Clicking this option will automatically open the phone's dialer with the customer support number pre-filled, allowing the customer to call and request a password reset.

Service Area Restriction: Only customers within the specified serviceable PIN codes will be able to log in or register.


Inventory and Product Management

Inventory Management: The platform will include a robust inventory management system for the store panel.
Product Information: Each product listing will include details such as product name, composition, discount, net price, and in-stock quantity.

Pricing and Discounts
Coupon Codes: Category-specific coupon codes can be applied. For example, a "get2%extra" coupon might apply only to the "Medicine" category but not to "Baby Food Milk."


Discount Application: Coupon codes will be applied to the net price of a product, after any regular discounts.

Example: For "Pan D" with an MRP of ₹200 and a regular 18% discount, the net price is ₹164. If a customer applies the "get2%extra" coupon, the final payment amount will be calculated from the net price: ₹164 - 2% = ₹160.72.

Delivery Charges: Orders with a total value below ₹500 will be subject to a delivery charge.


Prescription Handling

Prescription Upload: Customers will have the option to upload prescriptions in PDF or image format.
Upload Timing: Prescriptions can be uploaded while adding medicines to the cart, or they can be added after an order has been placed through an "Add Prescription" option.


Additional Features

Billing Support: The platform will support billing with 2-inch and 3-inch Bluetooth thermal printers.

In-app Chat: A direct chat option will be available for customers to text chat with the store. The chat feature will also support sending image or PDF files up to 5MB in size." (client-provided description)
