Email:Show
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Budget: Recommended by industry experts
Time to start: As soon as possible
Project description:
"We already have a working prototype of a real-time voice assistant that connects Twilio Voice and Media Streams with the OpenAI Realtime API for two-way conversations. The system is built in Node.js with Fastify, uses WebSockets for bidirectional audio streaming, and FFmpeg for audio processing.
Task:
We need a developer to fix a specific issue preventing the current demo from running smoothly. This may involve:
Debugging Twilio : OpenAI audio streaming (latency or connection drop).
Adjusting FFmpeg audio pipeline for correct format handling.
Resolving small errors in WebSocket event handling or session flow.
Deliverable:
A clean, working version of the existing code that can handle a single phone call demo without crashes. No new features or scaling work required.
Tech stack: Node.js, Twilio Media Streams, OpenAI Realtime API, FFmpeg, WebSockets.
Compensation: Fixed price $10 (for this small bug-fix).
Ideal Candidate:
Someone familiar with Twilio voice apps and Node.js who can quickly identify and patch issues in the pipeline." (client-provided description)
