"I'm creating Excel files that I want to distribute but have really good control over access. Is that possible beyond just simple Excel password protection. Excel Password is too easy to crack.

I want to create a plug-in / COM add-in so that requires the user to register on my website, download the plug-in, then login with an email to access the excel workbook plug-in (only 1 time for current version of workbook) and have a backend website to manage billing or permissions and approvals.
