Project description:
"I need a solid, well-documented API link between my custom Warehouse Management System and WooCommerce. The connection has to cover three core flows: pushing new and updated product data, pulling orders for processing, and keeping stock levels in sync both ways. I do not require true real-time traffic, but the scheduler must run frequently—at least four times every hour—so delays never exceed about fifteen minutes.
Your code should read and write through WooCommerce’s REST endpoints while respecting the field structure of my in-house WMS (I’ll share the schema once we start). Robust logging, retry logic on failed calls, and clear error messaging are essential so I can track exceptions without digging through server logs. Security matters, too, so token handling and SSL verification must be baked in from the outset.
Deliverables:
• A working integration package (language is your choice, but PHP or Python fits best with our environment)
• A configuration file or admin panel where I can adjust the sync interval, toggle each data flow, and set API keys
• Simple unit tests plus a short README that explains deployment, mapping details, and how to extend the scheduler if needed
Once installed, I’ll test by creating products, adjusting inventory, and placing orders on the staging site; the WMS should mirror all changes within the stated window. After acceptance on staging we’ll move to live and monitor for a full business cycle. If this sounds straightforward to you, let’s connect so I can hand over the WMS API docs and store credentials."
