"About Tripflix
Tripflix is a new AI-powered travel app that helps users recreate trips from their favorite movies & series. Imagine watching Emily in Paris or Game of Thrones and instantly generating a personalized itinerary with filming locations, restaurants, and cultural experiences. The app also allows users to remix itineraries based on preferences (budget, duration, travel style), save trips, and share them with friends.

We’ve completed the UI/UX designs in Figma and are looking for a developer (or small dev team) to build the working MVP.

Scope of Work (MVP Features)

Onboarding + Splash Screen

Basic onboarding flow with benefits slides.

Home / Explore Screen

Display movies/series posters → leads to trip itineraries.

AI recommendations section for personalized trips.

Movie/Show Detail Page

Show 3–4 iconic locations from a movie/show.

CTA: “View Full Itinerary” → goes to itinerary builder.

Itinerary Builder

Day-by-day itinerary display.

Options: Add activity, Delete, Swap with AI, Remix Itinerary.

Remix Flow

Simple question flow (budget, duration, style, must-haves).

Generates updated itinerary.

My Trips

Manage trips (Upcoming, Saved, Completed).

Shared Trips

View shared itineraries with friends.

Invite friends, share link, basic comments.

Profile

Avatar, bio, stats.

1–2 highlight trips (recent/shared).

Tech Preferences

Mobile-first (React Native preferred, but open to iOS/Android native).

Backend: Node.js / Firebase or similar lightweight backend.

AI Itinerary Generation: Start with API calls to GPT/Claude

Authentication: Simple email/password, with option to add Google/Apple login later.

Experience in React Native or mobile development.
