Project description:
"My analytics tell me that visitors leave mainly because they can’t find what they need, so I need a developer who can turn the navigation experience into a smooth, intuitive journey.
Here’s what I already know:
• Navigation and overall usability are the key pain-points driving our bounce rate.
• Every major navigation element needs attention—menu structure, internal links, and the on-site search.
• Within the menu itself I want fewer, clearer choices and the most important sections visually highlighted so they stand out at a glance.
Your task is to audit the current site, propose and implement practical changes, then validate that the new structure performs better. That means streamlining the menu, tightening the internal-link network, and upgrading or replacing the search component so results surface quickly and accurately.
Please be comfortable working with typical front-end tooling (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, any framework you prefer) as well as Google Analytics or similar to benchmark before-and-after metrics. I’m happy to provide full CMS access and a staging environment so we can iterate safely.
At hand-off I expect:
1. The reworked navigation live on production, bug-free.
2. A concise changelog outlining what was modified and why.
3. Post-launch metrics that demonstrate an improvement in navigation engagement (e.g., lower exit rate from key pages, better time on site).
If this sounds straightforward to you and you’ve tackled similar bounce-rate issues before, let’s talk details and timing." (client-provided description)
