"Configure SharePoint Online for Embedding in SAP Sales Cloud V2 (iFrame Mashup)

We need technical support for a client project. The goal is to embed SharePoint Online into SAP Sales Cloud V2 as a “mashup,” using an iFrame integration.
The main challenge is that SharePoint Online currently blocks iFrame embedding due to X-Frame-Options (or similar security headers). This is preventing the page from displaying within SAP Sales Cloud.
Additional complexity arises because the client is using the Modern SharePoint template, which no longer provides a Master Page or related configuration options. As a result, the common approaches do not apply.
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in SharePoint configuration who can determine a workable solution. While the setup may not be perfect, we are prepared to accept reasonable limitations as long as the integration functions reliably.

Key Objective:
Enable SharePoint Online content to be embedded as an iFrame within SAP Sales Cloud V2.

Feasibility assessment of iFrame embedding for Modern SharePoint Online within SAP Sales Cloud V2.


Configuration setup to enable the mashup and bypass the current block caused by X-Frame-Options or equivalent headers.

Step-by-step documentation of the configuration for future reference.

Acceptance Criteria:
SharePoint Online page (or defined content) successfully loads inside SAP Sales Cloud V2 as an iFrame mashup.


Solution works with the Modern SharePoint template currently in use.


Configuration is tested and verified with the client environment at Nussbaum Matzingen AG.
