Project description:
"We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to work on our custom-built Dealer Management Software (DMS), which runs entirely inside the WordPress framework. This role is ongoing, with steady part-time hours that could grow into a full-time engagement.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve our custom PHP/MySQL WordPress software.
Handle bug fixes, new feature development, and optimization for performance and usability.
Ensure the platform is 100% responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile for our team’s daily use.
Work on UI/UX improvements to keep the system intuitive, fast, and visually consistent.
Collaborate directly with our in-house Development Lead, who will manage project flow and liaise with other departments.
Assist with integrating Google APIs (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, etc.) as our team works heavily inside Google Workspace.


Requirements:
Strong experience in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress plugin/theme development.
Solid understanding of responsive design, front-end development, and cross-device testing.
Proven skills in UI/UX principles and delivering user-friendly interfaces.
Familiarity with WordPress best practices, security, and optimization.
Ability to work with Git/version control and staging workflows (preferred).
Experience integrating third-party APIs, ideally Google APIs.
Clear, consistent communication and attention to detail.


Engagement:
This is a part-time, long-term role with the potential to grow into a full-time position.
Work will be a mix of structured development projects and ongoing improvements/bug fixes.
Compensation is open for discussion based on your experience and proposal.
