"I’m ready to launch a hyper-local marketplace that lets neighbors advertise and sell their homes or everyday products to anyone within a strict three-mile radius. The platform needs to feel like a real-estate site—full-width gallery pages, map views, detailed property sheets—while still behaving like a modern e-commerce store for smaller items. Buyers and sellers will each have their own accounts; a single user can switch roles if they want to list something one day and purchase the next. Checkout must accept credit/debit cards (Stripe or similar) and PayPal right out of the box.

For hosting I’m on Cloudways, so whatever you build has to deploy smoothly there and be easy for me to scale later. My initial thought is WordPress (I already have a few a little experience with WP themes) but I’m open to alternatives as long as the final site can sync or otherwise coexist with a Shopify storefront when I expand. Absolutely no AI integrations are welcome… I want this developed by humans for humans.
