Project description:
"I am looking for a partner who can take our 200–300 page legacy .NET Web Forms application (heavy inline SQL) and deliver it back to us on a modern stack: React.js on the front end, .NET Core 9 API using a clean CQRS pattern (MediatR or an equivalent) on the back end, and MS SQL with every query refactored into stored procedures. The primary driver is a modern UI/UX that feels fast and intuitive, but performance, maintainability, and an easier path to future features are equally important.
The environment will remain on-prem Windows Server for now, so everything you build must deploy smoothly there. I want rock-solid automated tests, a straightforward CI/CD pipeline, and clear documentation of anything that changes along the way.
Key deliverables
• React pages that replicate (and visually refresh) each existing Web Form
• .NET Core 9 API layer implementing CQRS with MediatR
• All former inline SQL rewritten as stored procedures and called through EF Core
• Full unit and integration test coverage, plus a smoke-test script for go-live
• Deployment package and step-by-step runbook for our ops team
Timeline is about 12–16 weeks. Once this phase is complete, the roadmap includes cloud migration, real-time dashboards, and some AI/ML add-ons, so clean, extensible code is a must.
When you apply, please point me to past work that shows you’ve executed comparable migrations or large-scale React + .NET projects. A tight, relevant portfolio is far more valuable to me than a lengthy proposal.
I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right fit." (client-provided description)
