"I have a browser-based Snake game running on a small custom engine. The core gameplay is solid and a basic WebSocket layer is already in place, yet right now each player only sees their own snake. I need the networking logic tightened so that every client instantly receives position updates for all other connected snakes—whoever joins the server should immediately see, and be seen by, everyone else.
The codebase is clean and self-contained; you’ll find a lightweight WebSocket server script plus individual client files. I’d like you to:
• Debug the current connection handshake and message broadcast logic.
• Ensure every snake’s position, length, and colour are synced in real-time with minimal latency.
• Handle join/leave events gracefully so disappearing snakes are removed without errors.
• Keep the solution simple—plain WebSocket, ws, or [login to view URL] are all fine as long as it stays cross-platform and easy to drop into the existing custom framework.
